We will know by Thursday.

The big meeting is going to be Thursday, November 1, 2007. Allyson's doctor's will meet with expert neurosurgeons from Children's and University Hospitals. All of the testing she has had revealed that the seizures have not been changing lobes as some as the doctors thought but they are in a deep lobe called the insular lobe. The seizure activity was masking itself in the lobes above it. This will make the surgery more difficult but not impossible. Please pray for our family and the those involved in making the decision.

More news to come.

We're Waiting................

That's what we are all doing, waiting. The team of doctors meet on Wednesdays. They have all the info they are able to get at this time. Every Wednesday we don't get a call, we just assume we will hear something the next Wednesday. So the answer to what is going on is - we're waiting. They haven't said yes, they haven't said no.

On a good note, Allyson turned 16 yesterday, October 14. Many of you remember spending this month, 16 years ago worrying and praying for her. Seems things have not changed that much. God had a wonderful plan for her life and I'm sure He has plans for her now. Please continue to pray for Ally as she waits for news of her surgery.

Thanks,

Dana
